This project comes from my third year advertising design course. The project was to design the advertisements for the Rockabilly Chili Festival in Milwaukee. It is a well known food festival that features chili from many restaurants in the city. I designed a rockabilly style playing card poster that inspired the rest of the ads for the festival as well as the overall short term identity for the event.

Problem: Create an ad campaign for Milwaukee's annual Rockabilly Chili Fundraiser for Advertisement design class as a part of the third year curriculum. Identify a target audience of your choice and create an effective ad campaign tailored to that audience. Included in the campaign are web banner ads, posters, and several different types of billboards.
Solution: The ads are directed towards a younger audience with a special interest in vintage or Rockabilly culture. The playing card motif is meant to hit on the nostalgia of Rockabilly and the visual culture as well with the mascot of the pinup girl being utilized. The ad campaign aims to draw the audience in with the allure of the era and bring forth those who appreciate all things Rockabilly and vintage.
