About me.

Mara Howes is a designer based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is currently a fourth year student completing her BFA in communication design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design with a minor in fine arts.

Mara has special interest in publication design and has worked on several different full length publication projects, including her senior capstone project "Between Us". Aside from publication, she also focuses on identity design, typography, and advertising design. Mara uses research and observation to build a keen eye centered around natural design forms, accessibility, and the changing state of the world.
